BIRD MALAYSIA provides comprehensive services and identical features in all quotations for services provided in Northern Malaysia.

They are as follows:

VALIDITY

All rates quoted in Tariff are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and valid from 01st April 2008 to 31st March 2009, unless otherwise stated. Rates quoted in RM and EURO act as guidelines only – please refer to the office for reconfirmation of the existing and/or actual rates during the time of reservation for currency fluctuation.

RESERVATIONS AND CONFIRMATIONS

Inquiries or reservations for Tour Services and Hotel reservations must be made through BIRD MALAYSIA in Langkawi. All reservations requested will be confirmed by email or fax.

PACKAGES

Unless otherwise indicated, our tour packages include:

• Transportation as indicated in the itinerary
• For Individual travelers, driver-guides may be used, whilst in the case of 15 minimum passengers, qualified English Speaking guides are used. Guides speaking other than the English language are available upon request and are charged at additional cost
• Meals when indicated in the itinerary

VOUCHERS / PURCHASE & EXCHANGE ORDERS

Please issue one voucher, purchase or exchange order for all services required, clearly setting out the services to be provided. An itinerary (copy) should also be forwarded with the order and only those services detailed will be provided. Copies of both orders and itinerary must be received together with payment before arrival of clients. Please address your vouchers/exchange orders to BIRD MALAYSIA.

BILLING & PAYMENT

BIRD MALAYSIA requires full payment for all services before prior to commencement. Payment must be received by the office at least 20 days prior to client (s) arrival to allow processing time for clearance. When payment is made, the actual amount received will be credited to the customer account with BIRD MALAYSIA. Any deficiency in payment arising from the bank charges or as a result of currency conversion will be subtracted from the amount held as deposit. BIRD MALAYSIA shall be entitled to claim for and receive payment for any expenses incurred, in addition to full settlement with interest, for any unpaid amount with respect to services provided.

LIABILITY

BIRD MALAYSIA acts only as agent for transportation companies, hotels, car operators and all other contractors (herein collectively referred to as "Contractors") and therefore both for themselves and on behalf of their servants and agents do not accept responsibility for : Any act, omission, default or neglect of themselves, their servants and agents for the Contractors for injury, damage or loss to persons or goods, accidents, change of schedule or other irregularities whatsoever and however the same may be used. Any cancellation of journeys, deviations, delay or failure to provide seats, berth or facilities for carrying or storing luggage or for the failure to provide accommodation. BIRD MALAYSIA also reserves the right without being liable for any loss or damage to change the itinerary with or without notice and at its sole discretion if found to be in the best of all concerned.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Hotels, carriers, restaurants, contractors and any other companies related to the travel services required, might charge cancellation fees depending on the circumstances. If any cancellation charges are levied by them, these charges will be billed to you through BIRD MALAYSIA.

The following penalties will be levied if the booking is cancelled totally within:

• 60 days prior to arrival - 15%
• 30 days prior to arrival - 30%
• 15 days prior to arrival - 50%
• 07 days prior to arrival - 75%
• Passengers 'No Show' - 100 %

CHILD FARE (02 – 12 YEARS)

Reduction per child is 50% of adult fare for Airport Transfers. For daily tours and package, which include meals and accommodation, the price is 75% of adult fare, provided they share the same room with two adults in a twin room with an extra bed provided. Otherwise the full adult rate applies.

Fares Exclude: Airfare, Insurance, tips to local guides & drives, drinks and other items of personal nature.
