Our itineraries can be tailored to suit your dates and budget, well as your level of expertise and your previous experience of birding in this region. We cater for independent travelers and small groups. We can arrange all accommodation, transportation, meals, driver and guides. We can advise on ideal Itineraries as well as provide set itineraries.

Residential center based birding tours

Stay in one place and come back to your comfortable bedroom each night! For those whose companion will not do any birding there are enough other activities to keep them occupied while you are birding. Residential centers provide a wide range of short birding trips at a leisurely paced and plenty of birds. There are a variety of accommodation types available so it can fit most budgets. Bird Malaysia will arrange accommodation, meals, and guides to the recommended sites above. To get the most of resident based birding we recommend a minimum stay of 4 days and 3 nights.

Point to point birding tours

For people who like to go with a small guided group to observe a wide variety of birds the country has to offer. These are tours where we move to a new location with differing habitat types after several days. While we can custom design the destinations for our clients need we strongly recommend our featured tours.
